Rudy Lobl brings extensive knowledge and experience to the mediation table. Rudy practiced law for over 35 years across a broad spectrum of litigation matters with a primary emphasis on personal injury and insurance law. He represented both individual and corporate clients at all levels of Court and Tribunals. Since 2008, Rudy has successfully mediated hundreds of cases involving personal injury, insurance and commercial law. Rudy’s understanding of complex litigation and depth of experience makes him an excellent choice as mediator.

Rudy was certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Civil Litigation Specialist in 1995. He attended the Mediation Workshop at Harvard University and the Canadian Dispute Resolution Corporation Seminar as well as other advanced training for dispute resolution.

Rudy is a graduate of Loyola College in Montreal and the University of Toronto Law School. He was called to the Bar in 1973 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1984. He is a member of The Advocates Society, The Canadian Bar Association, and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
