Leanne Andree

Leanne Andree practiced law in the province of Ontario for over 17 years. Leanne was a senior member of the litigation group of one of North America's largest disability and life insurers. She successfully resolved hundreds of cases involving disability, life and health insurance, critical illness and reinsurance matters through mediation. She also mediated inter-corporate issues successfully applying the same skill set. Leanne's extensive knowledge, work experience and understanding of how to settle disputes effectively and efficiently makes her an excellent choice as mediator.

Leanne led the Executive of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association as President and was also a member of its Board of Directors. Leanne is a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal for her outstanding volunteer contributions to the legal profession. Leanne has chaired conferences and spoken at workshops on insurance, health care law, dispute resolution and litigation.

Leanne received her B.A. and LL.B. from the University of Saskatchewan in 1991 and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1996. Leanne has appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Superior Court of Justice. Leanne has completed the Harvard Dispute Resolution Program on Mediation.
